Health Tips of the day

Here's some health tips that we find beneficial in our day to day lives. Us 'em and see a difference! xo

1-After working out, eat foods high in fiber, antioxidants and proteins, and try to stay away from fats, even natural ones. You could try a smoothie with protein powder, or lowfat yogurt with fruit, like blueberries or strawberries.

2-Don't eat after 6pm. The later it gets, the more your body is trying to stop working so hard, relax, and be done for the night. Eating late can effect your weight and create bloating and indigestion, as well as effect how well you sleep at night.

3-Eat little meals all day, not 3 big meals! Keep your body working by munching on healthy delights. This way your body can digest the food you are intaking easier. If you are starving and then eat a huge meal, think about how this must effect your body ( kind of like a shock to your system) Try munching on carrots, blueberries, apples, tangelos, spirulina bars, and grapes whenever you get hungry and maybe make yourself a full sandwich and eat half of it and save the other half for another little meal later.

4-Try not to mix your food types (ie, combinations) if you are eating fruit, don't eat anything that isnt fruit for at least half an hour afterwards. This way your body doesnt get confused by having so many different things in your stomach at the same time.
